Jannik Sinner is currently banned from the sport until at least May when he returns at the Rome Masters but he could also see his lead as the top earning ATP player this season cut too as the ATP Prize Money Leaders have been updated.

After this past week which saw Zverev's Golden Swing World No.1 attempt go up in smoke, he sits at $1.62m behind $2.15m for Sinner and the same can be said for his bid for World No.1.

He had a great chance to overtake him going into an Indian Wells and Miami in which Sinner will not play but in similar fashion to a certain Carlos Alcaraz when he tried the same with Novak Djokovic, the pressure was too much.

Taylor Fritz and Alex de Minaur both of whom have had great seasons thus far sit in third and fourth. They are on $1.1m and $1.08m. This leads the current players over $1m but Carlos Alcaraz too has been usurped.

Tomas Machac winning a title in Acapulco as well as Stefanos Tsitsipas have seen them rise. Machac is now in the top five of money earned this season sitting on $949,000 tied just about with Carlos Alcaraz. Then it is Tsitsipas who is now on $947,000. He finally got over the line in an ATP 500 which is a big milestone in his career.

Felix Auger-Aliassime was toppled in said final and sits in eighth place. He has reached three finals and won two of them this season so is very much in a good place. Novak Djokovic for instance despite barely playing in 2025 still has a good haul.

Tomas Machac is now in the top five after title success.
Tomas Machac is now in the top five after title success.

He sits on $716,000 after the latest set of tournaments just behind Ben Shelton, Casper Ruud and Dubai champion Andrey Rublev. Hubert Hurkacz was a somewhat surprising forerunner previously but is just inside the top 15. Laslo Djere despite winning the title in Santiago still only sits in the top 80.

Surprisingly too considering his exploits in 2025, Joao Fonseca is also only just in the top 50 so while it gives a good gauge. It is not fully accurate when it comes to power rankings as Machac for instance has won a fairly big title and shoots up in the rankings automatically. It will likely shake up too before the end of Indian Wells and Miami.
