Already touted as the future of men's tennis, Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz continues to live up to expectations after accomplishing another feat that sees him leapfrog the legendary big three of Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.
In his relatively short time on tour, Alcaraz has won four Grand Slam titles and multiple ATP Masters 1000 tournaments. Furthermore, the 21-year old has reached the World No.1 ranking, and currently sits at World No.3 during the 2025 season.
The El Palmar native is competing at the 2025 Indian Wells tournament, where he has received a first round bye as the second seed. Alcaraz is a two-time champion at Indian Wells, and will look to complete a hat-trick of titles by the tournament's conclusion.
However, Alcaraz holds another spectacular record at the ATP Masters event. Among players with at least 10 matches matches at the event, he holds the best win rate in Men’s Singles at Indian Wells. Alcaraz has a 16-2 match record in the desert, indicating he was won 89.9% of all his matches. This is Alcaraz’s best win rate at a single ATP Masters 1000 event.
American tennis legend Jimmy Connors comes in second with an 85% win rate. Rounding out the top 5 are the three members of the big three, with Nadal, Djokovic and Federer coming in with 84.2%, 83.6% and 83.5% match win rates respectively at the ATP Masters 1000 event.
