As Roland Garros continues to count down with the run to the next Grand Slam tournament continuing, many of the top names are gearing up to either head to Paris or have already arrived in the French capital. In our Daily Dose of Social Media, we look back at some of the moments you might've missed.
Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Iga Swiatek, Serena Williams, Rafael Nadal and even Kylian Mbappe, the PSG footballer all feature as we run down some of the best bits from Tuesday.

Swiatek joined for session with Courtenay Cox from Friends

Being an avid tennis player herself and also inviting Swiatek for a doubles match back in 2022, Courtenay Cox who is a well known actress especially for her role in Friends got to live that dream slightly today. She joined the World No.1, Iga Swiatek for a hit on court during her practice session.
But for the Queen of Clay, it also represented the chance for her to show off her new kit. A daring number for Swiatek who is usually very plain with black, white and pink usually for the Pole. But it is one that is either loved or hated it seems so far. It could yet be a title winning kit though. But for today, two worlds collided on court and we are here for it.

Serena WIlliams sends tennis world into meltdown

Serena Williams announced in 2022 that she was 'evolving away' from tennis and that she was set to basically retire. Albeit there was no real finality about her decision with the legendary American going on to have a second child Adira with husband Alexis Ohanian.
Williams has never shut the door and despite saying a few times that she is now unlikely to return set tongues wagging on Tuesday. She suddenly tweeted mid afternoon that she is 'ready to hit some balls again'. Some saw a different meaning to it, but most saw it as a sign that she might be coming back. But is it a red herring? Time will soon tell.

Alcaraz and Sinner set to head to Roland Garros

There was a double whammy of good news (albeit not counting chickens just yet) when it came to Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. Both have seemingly wrapped up their practice and are heading to Roland Garros.
Two of the biggest favourites for the title, they have both been plagued by injuries as of late and as a result, their path into Roland Garros is still very much unknown.
Alcaraz has dealt with his for a while with a forearm issue which saw him withdraw from Rome. While Sinner's issue got worse in Madrid with a hip injury. He was told that potentially he couldn't play Roland Garros as he could be out long-term and never be the same if he aggravates his injury. But it seems that Sinner aside from a late withdrawal has made his mind up. He has wrapped up his last practice.
As has Alcaraz with the Spaniard having footage shared by a prominent journalist of him testing out his forehand. The proof will be in the pudding when they both rock up to Roland Garros. But for now it seems to be some semblance of good news.

Kylian Mbappe turns to tennis

Now former PSG footballer, Kylian Mbappe is plotting his next move in his career. But could it be tennis that is next on his horizon.
Mbappe tried out the sport and was pictured seemingly in Marrakech with Moustapha Diatta who is well known for being involved with his compatriot Ousmane Dembele and is a former footballer himself. One way certainly of keeping fit ahead of his next move and interestingly of course before Roland Garros.

Nadal continues preparation for Roland Garros

Rafael Nadal continues to prepare for Roland Garros and he had a practice set today with one Sebastian Korda who recently showed a good level in Rome albeit whilst jostling with fans.
But he was the loser today in practice with Nadal running out a 6-3 winner in front of a crowd on Court Philippe Chatrier. Albeit not a lot can be read into this for the simple fact that Nadal also thrashed Andrey Rublev before he won Madrid. So while its great, the proof will be when he begins his campaign. With him being unseeded this will be early next week.
