The draw has been confirmed for the 2025 Miami Open ATP tournament which is due to take place between 19-30 March 2025 in Florida and marks the second half of the Sunshine Double.
Miami Open last year saw Jannik Sinner crowned as champion as he saw off Grigor Dimitrov 6-3, 6-1 in the final to seal the title. The Italian will not return this year due to a current doping ban which he will serve until at least Rome.
As a result, Alexander Zverev is in fact top seed. He faces Benjamin Bonzi or a qualifier and sits in the same side of the draw as Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard who opens against Jordan Thompson or Marcos Giron.
Second seed is Carlos Alcaraz who opens against either Aleksandar Vukic or David Goffin. His first seeded opponent is likely Brandon Nakashima who gets a bye then faces a qualifier or Roberto Carballas Baena.
Novak Djokovic is fourth seed. He faces either Rinky Hijikata or his protege Hamad Medjedovic. The first well known seed he could face is Alex Michelsen who just has qualifiers in his path to start the tournament.
Third seed is Taylor Fritz. He faces Lorenzo Sonego or Mariano Navone. He has a tough section also featuring Denis Shapovalov. Holger Rune could open up against Christopher Eubanks or Reilly Opelka.
Jack Draper after winning Indian Wells could face Roberto Bautista Agut or Jakub Mensik. Casper Ruud will face either Aleksandar Kovacevic or Miomir Kecmanovic in his opener. While Daniil Medvedev is set for a meeting with either Arthur Rinderknech or Jaume Munar.
Jiri Lehecka sits in his section and opens with a fun tie against either Gael Monfils or Fabian Marozsan. The main draw starts Wednesday also featuring Nick Kyrgios who plays despite recent injury travails.
