Draw Barcelona Open 2025 including Carlos Alcaraz, Casper Ruud, Stefanos Tsitsipas and Andrey Rublev

The draw has been confirmed for the 2025 Barcelona Open which will take place between 14-20 April 2025 and sees Carlos Alcaraz as top seed and Casper Ruud as defending champion.

Alcaraz returns for the first time since winning the title in 2023. Last year he decided to ditch the event due to injury but will return this year. He faces either Tomas Machac or Frances Tiafoe in the second round.

Casper Ruud is second seed and could face Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard in the second round. Stefanos Tsitsipas reached the final facing Ruud last year and will start off against Reilly Opelka this time around. The winner faces Matteo Arnaldi or Sebastian Korda.

Alex de Minaur who could like Alcaraz yet be in the final of Monte-Carlo is facing Tomas Martin Etcheverry. The same can be said for Alejandro Davidovich Fokina who faces Stan Wawrinka and Lorenzo Musetti who takes on Jaume Munar.

Davidovich Fokina could face Andrey Rublev in the second round. Holger Rune also returns facing Albert Ramos Vinolas. He could then face clay court specialist Sebastian Baez who often dominates the Golden Swing.
