Father of Zizou Bergs targeted with malicious online abuse after son's French Open qualifying loss

Belgian tennis players Zizou Bergs was upset in the Roland Garros qualifiers and his father was targeted with online abuse on social media as a result of that.

Tennis players getting hate on social media by now is just part of the experience. The tennis player was upset in his qualifying match losing to a player many expected he would beat. The result of it was social media abuse towards his father with one fan in particular leaving a comment on Instagram:

"Are you the father of this tennis c*nt? May he end tennis and life soon."

His father screenshotted the comment and responded:

"Yes. I am the father of @ZizouBergs and I am very proud of him. He is a great young man who lives his dreams and works hard every day to realize his goals," he said. "I hope he continues the process and lives very long."
