Homeland Security deny Novak Djokovic's vaccine waiver request, ineligible to compete at Indian Wells and Miami Open

While Novak Djokovic has not withdrawn from either BNP Paribas Open Indian Wells or Miami Open yet, the writing is firmly on the wall that he will currently not play in the Sunshine Double
After both tournaments sent off an exemption to allow him to play, a decision was due next week but Florida's US Senator, Rick Scott confirmed that Homeland Security have denied his waiver request.
This as such denies him entry to the US for these tournaments with the vaccine mandate still apparent until May. Scott himself urged Joe Biden to fix this and grant his waiver to allow in his words a 'world-class athlete in peak physical condition' who is not at high-risk of complications in as he is not a danger.
