"I remember thinking that was the best day of my life" - Osaka remembers meeting Serena Williams in 2014

Naomi Osaka first met Serena Williams back in 2014 in San Jose and this year she will make her return to the city.

San Jose will also always have a pretty decent spot in Osaka's heart as it was there, that the Japanese player met her idol growing up Serena Williams. It happened in 2014 and the occasion was immortalized with a selfie by Serena.

Osaka will make her return to the event this year and the official Twitter page of the event shared the moment with the world and Osaka was compelled to reply. It was a simple one:

"hahah I remember thinking that was the best day of my life."
