Fans have
reacted to the discussion surrounding
Alexander Zverev and on-court insulin
injections.
The German
player has had type 1 diabetes since he was three years old. Zverev has become
embroiled in controversy due to the authorization he has to inject insulin
during ATP tournaments, but not during the 2023
French Open.
According
to the former world No. 2, the
Roland Garros organization has stated that it
"looks weird," sparking mixed opinions among fans.
Zverev will
play tomorrow in the quarterfinals of the French Open against Argentine Tomas
Etcheverry. The winner will face either Holger Rune or Casper Ruud.
