Greek star Stefanos Tsitsipas was asked to reveal his biggest supporter, and to the surprise of everyone, he selected Josep Badosa, father of girlfriend Paula Badosa.
The World No.16 and Badosa have been in a relationship for over two years, with both players often spotted cheering each other on in their player's boxes during matches. Although Tsitsipas' father, Apostolos, coached his son and has been seen at almost every match, it was his girlfriend's dad whom Tsitsipas chose when asked to name his biggest supporter.

Josep is a huge fan of Tsitsidosa

During an interview at the 2025 Barcelona Open, the former World No.3 was asked whom he thought was his biggest supporter.
"Josep Badosa, Paula’s father,” Tsitsipas told the ATP. “He keeps wearing ‘Team Tsitsipas’ [on his shirt] just everywhere he goes! There’s this one t-shirt that I gave him, and he just wears it everywhere."
Tsitsipas won his first title of the 2025 season in Dubai, where he defeated Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime in the final. However, his Barcelona run came to an end in the quarterfinals, where he was forced to withdraw in his match against Arthur Fils after just two games in the first set.
Conversely, Badosa, who had been battling injury for the bulk of the 2024 season, was able to turn things around last summer as she won the title in Washington. After reaching the quarterfinals in Merida this year, the Spaniard was forced to withdraw from Indian Wells due to injury. Although she made a brief return at the Miami Open, Badosa has since announced she will be taking a break from tennis to aid her recovery.
