The precursor to the French Open is the next on the agenda between 7-18 May, 2025 as the action heads both in ATP and WTA 1000 to the Rome Open also known as Internazionali BNL d'Italia with our TV Guide giving you all the information on how to watch the next two weeks.
The men's perhaps holds the leading storyline with Jannik Sinner returning for the first time since the turn of the year. Regaining the Australian Open, he then took a retrospective ban from the sport for use of Clostebol which he bore no fault or negligence for.
But despite that he had an appeal to CAS looming so he decided to take a ban which saw him out of Indian Wells, Miami and also Monte-Carlo and Madrid.
Apart from Sinner, the rest of the ATP is a bit upside down. Alexander Zverev for instance hasn't taken his chance to become World No.1 and has not been the same. Carlos Alcaraz is currently as of time of writing making a choice on whether he plays after getting injured in Barcelona.
While Novak Djokovic has decided not to play this next week. In Madrid this has left Casper Ruud who is a clay court master, Jack Draper who is not but has dazzled as well as Lorenzo Musetti and Francisco Cerundolo who are dab hands on the surface in the running. But it shows the unpredictability right now which likely heads into Rome too.
In terms of how to watch it, it is mainly subscription led platforms and TV Channels with Tennis Channel who show the vast majority of the tour airing proceedings in the US with an all star team onsite.
Sky Sports also pick this up as part of their coverage in the UK showing select matches which will mainly be geared towards the big names and British stars. With the rise of Jack Draper in particular, he will be a centre piece.
In Australia, it will be beIN Sports who show proceedings on their channel over the course of the next week with most of the listings remaining the same throughout the tennis season.

While WTA wise, it is much more of a foregone conclusion albeit perhaps in one part of the top two more than the other. Aryna Sabalenka continues to emerge as the queen of women's tennis.
While Iga Swiatek is in crisis as of right now especially given it is her favourite surface. A crushing loss to Coco Gauff who had never beaten her on clay was perhaps the damning indictment of those struggles.
So that will also be a leading storyline. Alongside Gauff, Jessica Pegula, Mirra Andreeva, Jasmine Paolini among others who will all be protagonists for the title at the Foro Italico.
Like ATP, it is mostly just Tennis Channel in the US and Sky Sports in the UK for both to show the tournament as well as other territories.
