Never one to fail to entertain the crowd,
Nick Kyrgios was at it again on Tuesday during his first round match at the
Australian Open.
The former World No.13 faced British qualifier
Liam Broady in a thrilling encounter on John Cain Arena. Both men seemed eager to display their showmanship as their match was filled with laughs and several attempts to please the crowd with spectacular shot-making.
However, it was Kyrgios who pulled off the shot of the night, hitting an underarm serve between his legs. Not only did he successfully hit the serve, but he also won the point as Broady's return sailed long. The Brit could only smile in disbelief, as Kyrgios postured while the raucous crowd roared in excitement.
Kyrgios would eventually go on to win the match in straight sets, booking a second round match with World No.2 Daniil Medvedev.
