Anastasia Potapova sparks dating rumours, appears in Tallon Griekspoor's box again during Indian Wells

A good luck charm for Tallon Griekspoor it seems in recent weeks has been the presence of fellow tennis star Anastasia Potapova as she set social media off again on Friday by appearing in his box for one of the biggest wins of his career against Alexander Zverev.

Potapova staged a comeback in her opener against Jessica Bouzas Maneiro winning 6-7(5), 6-4, 7-5 and now has a certain Madison Keys on her return after the Australian Open in her sights.

Ahead of Saturday's match against the home hero, Potapova was cheering for the World No.43 Dutchman alongside his coaching team fuelling potential dating rumours after her recent divorce to Alexander Shevchenko. He stunned top seed Alexander Zverev 4-6, 7-6(5), 7-6(4) to reach the third round after previously seeing off Miomir Kecmanovic.

He required six match points to stage the huge upset and claim a third round clash against Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard. But is there a new tennis power couple on the way? This is not the first time that Potapova has attended a Griekspoor match recently either.

She set the rumour mill off and questions on social media when he won against defending champion Ugo Humbert at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships and with no real context to the screenshots of her in the box in Dubai, some wondered if it was Humbert she was there for.

But given she has since gone to see Griekspoor again, it cannot just be a mere coincidence. This after recently speaking about her divorce to fellow tennis pro Shevchenko to Sofya Tartakova.

"I really wish Sascha—I can say it on camera, I’m not ashamed of these words—I really wish him all the best, and he deserves all the best. I wish him all the best with his career, as well, because he’s very talented and he has to keep working and developing as a player."

But while she had to go through that, she won the Transylvania Open recently and is on the up again. She also said that she feels the weight off her shoulders firmly lifted.

“I feel like I’m 10 kilos now!” she said as per Tennis.com. “I feel very light in my head. I have such big relief, and I’m just really enjoying every day, every moment. Even if something bad happens, I just take it. I’ve learned how to move on, and I don’t really stress out about anything. I can’t be bothered.”
