Carla Suarez Navarro touched many by her inspirational journey back to the tennis courts and yesterday she played her last Wimbledon match ever.
The match was a loss for but still it was a very inspiration loss and she took the world number one to three sets after playing a very good 2nd set tiebreak. The performance did not go unnoticed as many from the tennis world reacted to it.
Novak Djokovic wrote: "True warrior spirit"
Billie Jean King also paid tribute by calling her a true fighter.
Others that paid tribute include Garbine Muguruza, Monica Puig, Nick Kyrgios, Laura Robson, John Millman, Coco Vandeweghe and of course Ashleigh Barty after the match.
