As the Asian swing comes to an end, the WTA will host it's final tournament on the continent at the 2024
Jiangxi Open, which will take place in Jiujiang, China and is slated to run from October 28 - November 3, 2024.
A WTA 250 event, the Jiangxi Open has seen an impressive list of home players lift the title in the past, with
Peng Shuai and Qiang Wang all cementing their names in national history. Czech star Katerina Siniakova won the title in 2023, following the tournament's reinstatement to the tour after the covid pandemic.
Kudermetova leads stars in race for title
With only a handful of events left this season, Russian
Veronika Kudermetova will be the top seed and fancy her chances of leaving Jiujiang with the trophy. Standing in her way are Czech star
Marie Bouzkova, in addition to Poland's Magda Linette and China's Yafan Wang.
American
Katie Volynets will look to build momentum heading into the Jiangxi Open, following a disappointing opening round exit at the
Wuhan Open. The always-entertaining Laura Siegemund is scheduled to compete at the event, alongside Great Britain's
Harriet Dart and Croatian veteran Petra Martic. Below is the list of entrants.
