Sascha Bajin commented on the possibility of coaching Olympia, the daughter of Serena Williams.
The German coach became known as the former hitting partner of the tennis legend when she won several of her major titles. He also worked as a hitting partner with other Grand Slam winners, such as Victoria Azarenka, Sloane Stephens, and Caroline Wozniacki.
After his experience as a hitting partner, he started working as the coach of former world No. 1 Naomi Osaka and was with her when she achieved her first two Grand Slam titles: the 2018 US Open and the 2019 Australian Open.
Bajin has recently been working with the Czech player and also former world No. 1, Karolina Pliskova. They joined forces in 2020 and worked together until July 2022. After a few months apart, they reunited in December 2022, but this week they decided to part ways again.
The German coach had words for Pliskova, an athlete who reached her only Grand Slam final while working with Bajin at Wimbledon 2021, but she was defeated by Ashleigh Barty.
"Hey @KaPliskova thanks for giving it another go with me. Thank you for all the fun moments and memories created. All the best from me to you and good luck at the US Open. Hope you get your slam. Let’s see what’s next for me. Any suggestions guys?" Bajin tweeted

A fan suggested on Twitter that Sascha Bajin should train Serena Williams' daughter, Olympia, who is 5 years old, to which Bajin responded
"Olympia is Serena's blood, she gonna be ready (to play tennis) in 5. Yes, I ran into Caroline at Wimbledon, she looked fit," he responded.
The German coach won the inaugural WTA Coach of the Year award in 2018 for his work with Osaka, helping her secure her first two titles in Indian Wells and the US Open.
After parting ways with Osaka, he worked with Kristina Mladenovic and Dayana Yastremska before reuniting with Pliskova.
