Tatjana Maria falls in Abierto GNP Seguros Monterrey Last 16 as Cocciaretto joins Garcia

While Caroline Garcia swept through to the Quarter-Finals of Abierto GNP Seguros Monterrey, the same couldn't be said for Tatjana Maria who fell to Elisabetta Cocciaretto.
This after an over two hour battle with the Italian who sealed it 7-6, 7-6. Maria was the last remaining German in the draw in Mexico.
Jule Niemeier was eliminated in the first round on Monday so those hopes have now faded going into the last weekend.
