For the 2nd grand slam in a row, Ons Jabeur was the defeated player but the Tunisian is not losing hope and embracing the process.
Jabeur was a late bloomer in her tennis career only getting to the top after years on the Tour. She worked hard to develop the talent that she had and became a very unique player on the WTA Tour. Popular among fans and colleagues, Jabeur was once again graceful in defeat noting that it will take time:
"I struggled to win my first WTA title. It took me time. So I believe this will take me time. The most important thing is accepting it, learning from the finals that I lost. But yeah, definitely I'm not someone that going to give up. I am sure I'm going to be in the final again. I will try my best to win it."
Jabeur was also quite content with herself. It was not the best she can play but she did give it her everything and she's okay with that. According to Jabeur, there are no regrets:
"To be honest with you, I have nothing to regret because I did everything possible. I wish I served a little bit better today. It would have helped me a lot. You know Iga, how she plays in finals. It's very tough to beat her. I will keep positive and work on the things that was missing today."
