With the 2025 season upon us starting with the ASB Classic, the Prize Money and Points Breakdown is now set as the players in Auckland know what they will receive for sealing the WTA 250 title with the amount increased for 2025. It takes place between December 30 - January 5.
Coco Gauff previously played the tournament the last two years sealing the title but has decided to skip it this year in favour of the United Cup. As a result, it will not be a hat-trick. Bianca Andreescu was also a late withdrawal and it is unknown when she will return.
While the likes of Elina Svitolina and Caroline Wozniacki who played it in 2024 also won't return meaning albeit there is big names, there isn't as many as the last addition meaning a scramble of sorts to get some in who fit the mould. Albeit there are a lot of returnees.
But in terms of name value, Emma Raducanu, Madison Keys, Amanda Anisimova and Naomi Osaka are all involved. Osaka played Brisbane last year and so has decided to revert in 2025 and usually it is a good tournament for those wanting to gain form and fitness again.
With many of the top names being in Brisbane or the United Cup, a chance presents itself for those involved which they could grab to start the season in some style.
For winning the title alongside 250 points, there is $36,300 for the victor. While for reaching the final, it is $21,484. The prize money breakdown (below) goes all the way down to the first round losers who will collect $2,975.
First round: 1 point | $2,975
Round of 16: 30 points | $4,160
Quarterfinals: 54 points | $6,815
Semifinals: 98 points | $11,970
Finalist: 163 points | $21,484
Champion: 250 points | $36,300
