Elena Rybakina let loose one caveat behind her potentially going on to win the
Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart and that is she can't drive.
Rybakina snapped
Iga Swiatek's unbeaten streak in style 6-3, 4-6, 6-3 in the end and will face Marta Kostyuk or Marketa Vondrousova in tomorrow's showpiece final. It is the first time that Swiatek has been defeated at this tournament and lands a 2-0 head to head on clay for Rybakina. But unlike Swiatek who has detailed how she uses the cars, Rybakina won't be driving it.
"Well guys I actually don't have a driving license so that's going to be the goal," said Rybakina with a smile.
“It was like always a very tough match. My serve helped me a lot in the important moments. I was fighting for every ball. It was such a close match. I’m really happy I managed to win and I showed a good game," she also said post match.
“Of course we both like to dominate in the point.. it wasn’t easy to start. She has a really good kick. I also have a good serve. It was kind of a battle of who starts to dominate. It’s always tough to play her. We push each other. Really happy today I managed to win.”
