Although the
ATP Cup will be the main attraction during the first week of January in Sydney, there will be an ATP 250 event the following week at the same venue.
The
Sydney Tennis Classic will be making it's debut on the ATP calendar, running from January 10-15, 2022. The tournament will feature several of the ATP's brightest stars, with Chilean
Christian Garin leading the field. Joining Garin are
Aslan Karatsev,
Roberto Bautista Agut and hometown favorite
Nick Kyrgios.
The 28-man event will have a prize pool of $521,000, with the distribution of prize money and points illustrated below.
