The ATP Tour will head to Munich, Germany for the 2024 edition of the
BMW Munich Open, which is slated to run from April 14-20, 2025.
Prize Money is set for the tournament.
An ATP 500 event this year, the BMW Munich Open is one of the oldest professional tennis events. Contested on clay, the annual tournament has a list of notable champions, with five of the last 11 editions being won by Germans. Hometown hero
Alexander Zverev is slated to compete this year, with the two-time champion hoping to make it a hat-trick of wins at his local event.
As well as Zverev, it also features such champions as Ben Shelton, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Ugo Humbert and Denis Shapovalov. It has also been upgraded for 2025 with the Prize Money and Points Breakdown reflecting this.
The winner is set for €467,485 with the runner-up to claim €251,555 while reaching the semi-finals is set to net players €134,065. Quarter-Finalists receive €68,490 while Last 16 and Last 32 get €36,560 and €19,500.
Taylor Fritz and Hubert Hurkacz were due to play this tournament but both had to withdraw with injury with Jakub Mensik though returning after his Miami triumph.
