The European clay court season will see the ATP Tour make a stop in Lyon, France for the
Lyon Open. The tournament is one of the newer events on tour, and will take place from May 19-25, 2024.
An ATP 250 event, the Lyon Open is played on clay and is used as a warm up for the
French Open. Several clay court specialists are expected to compete at the event. The 28 man singles field and 16 team doubles draw is likely to feature a mix of local and international players.
Fils aims to defend home title

Arthur Fils won the trophy in front of a raucous home crowd at last year's edition. The 19-year old delighted fans with his passion and energetic play. Likely to return to the event, Fils will square off against other established clay court veterans, in an attempt to get ready for the only clay Grand Slam event of the season in Paris. The tournament will offer a
prize money pool of €579,320, with $88,125 going to the winner alongside 250 ranking points. Below is the full breakdown.
