Andy Murray is through to the Quarter-Finals of the Surbiton Trophy Challenger after a straight sets win over Bu Yunchaokete.
The former World No.1 sealed it 7-6, 6-4 after seeing off Hyeon Chung earlier this week. Skipping Roland Garros to focus on his Wimbledon quest and his want to be seeded, he continues to get valuable match practice.
It could be a Brit next in Ryan Peniston or Czech ace Jiri Vesely who are also involved on Wednesday.
He broke for a 4-2 lead in the opening set but Yunchaokete broke back instantly. He saved two set points and sent it to a tie break but Murray dominated to go 1-0 up.
Murray missed out on a break point at 3-2 cutting a frustrated figure but he was able to achieve the feat two games later and served out the win with a 16th ace of the day.
He will need to climb 10 spots from 43rd in the world rankings to be seeded for Wimbledon.
