The National Bank Open in Toronto passed and a Monday brings us a new ATP Ranking with Daniil Medvedev shrinking the gap between him and Djokovic.

Novak Djokovic is still ranked as the best player in the world and his lead over Medvedev is comfortable. However, the Russian is slowly shrinking the gap between the two which is now less than 2.000 points. The rest of the top 10 was left largely unchanged.

Tsitsipas is still 3, Nadal is at 4, Zverev is at 5, Thiem is at 6, Rublev is at 7, Berrettini is at 8, Federer is at 9 and Shapovalov is at 10. Reilly Opelka made significant gains with his run to the National Bank Open finals jumping 9 spots to number 23.

Further down the pecking order James Duckworth made big gains as well. The Australian is making a breakthrough in 2021 sitting now at 69 after a 16-spot jump. He is the biggest jumper this week. In total 5 players have new career-high rankings this week.

They are Ruud at 11, Opelka at 23, Harris at 46, Duckworth at 69 and Nakashima at 86. Check out the full top 100 below.
