Sinner receives special gift from AC Milan coach Paulo Fonseca
World No. 1
Jannik Sinner, a passionate AC Milan fan, was presented with a personalised
jersey by the team's coach, Paulo Fonseca. "Nice to meet you,
congratulations, great match," Fonseca said as he greeted the Italian. “A
gift for you. I know you are a Milan fan,” he added while handing over the
jersey inscribed with "Sinner" and the number one.
The 2-time
Grand Slam champion topped his group at the ATP Finals with victories over De
Minaur, Fritz, and Medvedev. Sinner now prepares for a challenging semifinal
clash against Casper Ruud, who recently defeated Rublev and eliminated Carlos
Alcaraz.
Emotional
moment: Swiatek and Badosa hug after three-set thriller
Iga Swiatek
delivered a hard-fought victory against Spain’s Paula Badosa in the Billie Jean
King Cup, winning 6-3, 6-7(5), 6-1 after two hours and 37 minutes. The 5-time
Grand Slam champion secured Poland's spot in the semifinals, making the doubles
match unnecessary after Magda Linette had earlier defeated Sara Sorribes Tormo
in three sets.
Swiatek's
battle against the World No. 11 had a dramatic second set where Badosa pushed
to a tiebreak and prevailed 7-6(7-5) to extend the match. Despite the comeback
attempt, Swiatek dominated the final set to seal the win. The match ended with
both players exchanging a heartfelt embrace at the net, showcasing their mutual
respect. Poland now advances to face the Czech Republic, led by Marie Bouzkova
and Linda Noskova, in the semifinals.
Alcaraz
expresses gratitude to fans after ATP Finals elimination
Although he
entered the tournament as one of the favourites behind Jannik Sinner, the
4-time Grand Slam champion bowed out after straight-set losses to Casper Ruud
and Alexander Zverev, securing just one victory against Andrey Rublev.
Undoubtedly,
it wasn't Alcaraz's best tournament, as he struggled to find his top form in
both defeats. The 4-time Grand Slam champion finished third in his group
with a 2-4 set record and won only 45% of the games played.
However, Carlitos remained a fan favourite among the Italian
crowd, who supported him throughout all his matches. In response, Alcaraz took
to social media to share his appreciation for the fans in Turin and announced
his upcoming trip to Málaga for the Davis Cup Finals, where he will join Rafa
Nadal and teammates to face the Netherlands in the quarter-finals.
"Thank you for the support Turin and see you next year!
🔜
Malaga 🇪🇸❤️" the Spaniard wrote on his
social media.
The special hug between Boulter and Raducanu
This
Friday, Team Great Britain had a brilliant debut at the Billie Jean King Cup,
advancing to the quarter-finals of the tournament. The British team has enjoyed
an impeccable year; back in April, they secured a remarkable victory against
France to qualify for the Finals, with Katie Boulter and Emma Raducanu as key
players.
In their
opener against Germany, both British stars delivered outstanding performances
to secure the series 2-0 without needing the doubles match. Raducanu first
defeated Jule Niemeier 6-4, 6-4, and then Boulter sealed the deal with a
dominant 6-1, 6-2 victory over Laura Siegemund. With this result, Great Britain
stays in the competition and will face Canada, led by Leylah Fernandez, in the
quarter-finals on 17 November.
After
Boulter’s win secured their spot in the next round, Raducanu was one of the
first to congratulate her teammate. The pair shared a heartfelt hug while
signing autographs for fans in Málaga.
The official photo of Rafael Nadal in Malaga
Everything
is ready for Rafael Nadal to play the final competition of his career at the
Davis Cup Finals with Team Spain. The 22-time Grand Slam champion announced his
retirement months ago in Málaga and is now just days away from debuting against
the Netherlands. Nadal posed for the official team photo, smiling in the
Spanish team’s kit.
Nadal is
already training with captain David Ferrer while awaiting the arrival of Carlos
Alcaraz, who is traveling from Turin following his elimination at the ATP
Finals. Ferrer has chosen ‘Carlitos’ as the team’s primary singles player,
though there are still doubts about whether Nadal will play singles or only
participate in doubles, potentially partnering with Marcel Granollers.
The former
World No. 1 has been training for weeks at the Rafa Nadal Academy and hopes to
deliver a memorable farewell performance in front of his home crowd. Meanwhile,
World No. 3 Alcaraz has already declared his intention to win the title to give
the Spanish legend the send-off he deserves.
Serena

Serena
Williams surprised fans by commenting on a photo of Jannik Sinner on Instagram.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion has been retired for over two years and has had

sports, fashion, and food industries, among others.
