DRAW ATP Madrid Open 2025 led by Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Novak Djokovic and defending champion Andrey Rublev

The draw has been confirmed for the Madrid Open on the men's side which takes place between 23 April - 4 May and will see Alexander Zverev as top seed in Caja Magica.

Zverev will face Roberto Bautista Agut or Jaume Munar. Carlos Alcaraz will face Yoshihito Nishioka or Zizou Bergs. Albeit whether he plays is another matter. He faces an MRI after feeling something in his right thigh adductor during his Barcelona final loss to Holger Rune.

But if he can play, he likely will with his adoring home fans needing a new icon to cheer on after the retirement of Rafael Nadal last year in the first year without the clay court king.

Taylor Fritz will face Christopher O'Connell or Camilo Ugo Carabelli after a bye. While Novak Djokovic was drown to face a qualifier or Matteo Arnaldi. He is a three-time champion but has not played since 2022.

Andrey Rublev was the champion last year and could face Gael Monfils in the second round. He saw off Felix Auger-Aliassime and could lurk in Zverev's section. Holger Rune fresh off winning the Barcelona Open faces Flavio Cobolli or Fabian Marozsan.

Jack Draper sits in Novak Djokovic's quarter and could face Tallon Griekspoor in the second round. Alex de Minaur sits in Carlos Alcaraz's section and will face Lorenzo Sonego or Miomir Kecmanovic.

Ben Shelton fresh off reaching the Munich Final could face big serving Frenchman, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard. Casper Ruud faces Arthur Rinderknech or Roman Safiullin.
