The draw has been made for the Dallas Open which will take place between February 3-9 featuring a heavy US contingent involved in the ATP 500 as well as Casper Ruud.
It will mark the tournament's first edition as an ATP 500. In previous years, it was an ATP 250 with Tommy Paul winning the title in 2024. He defeated another American in Marcos Giron. Both will return in 2025.
Paul will face Jenson Brooksby who will hope to improve after a woeful return at the Australian Open. Giron on the otherhand faces the other piece to the puzzle outside the Americans in second seed Ruud.
Top seed Taylor Fritz faces Arthur Rinderknech with their previous meetings being very much heated affairs such as at Roland Garros where Fritz was heavily booed. Fritz then faced him at Wimbledon which coined the 'have a nice flight home' saga.
Ben Shelton is fourth seed and faces Aleksandar Vukic, as Frances Tiafoe will face Taro Daniel. Ruud could await the latter in the Quarter-Finals.
