Entry List ATP Hamburg Open 2025 featuring Jannik Sinner, Andrey Rublev and Holger Rune

The Entry List has been confirmed ahead of the Hamburg Open which is due to take place between 18-24 May, 2025 and is the last tournament before the French Open led by Jannik Sinner.

Sinner will only play again in the tournament before at the Italian Open in Rome so he needs that extra match practice before the main Grand Slam return.

Andrey Rublev, Holger Rune, Lorenzo Musetti, Tommy Paul, Frances Tiafoe and Stefanos Tsitsipas are among those involved also. Previously Arthur Fils won the title in 2024 when it was held in the July section. He defeated Alexander Zverev in the final 6-3, 3-6, 7-6.

Albeit neither will return this year. Former champion Lorenzo Musetti will though as one of the leading lights. Geneva Open also takes place in the same week and is headlined by Casper Ruud and Taylor Fritz.

Hamburg sits on the ATP 500 calendar so is much more populated by top stars and with Sinner needing that extra game time this year, it is no shock that he has chosen the event for that purpose. Similar to Novak Djokovic when he needed sudden matches last season and picked Geneva.

Also it shifts back with last year being played in July as a warm-up for the Olympic Games post Wimbledon.
