Former
Atlanta Open champion
Alex de Minaur is back into the final and the Australian will challenge Jenson Brooksby for the trophy.
It's going to be a tricky matchup for de Minaur as he'll play a native player who'll have the backing of the crowd. Americans dominated this event for many years and Brooksby has the chance to continue that. It will be hard for him but he can do it. De Minaur won a couple of 3-set matches this week and the latest came against Ivashka.
Speaking about that, he said:
"I just found a way to get through. It wasn't an ideal start but these things happen. You adapt, you move on and try to do the best that you can."
On the final, de Minaur added:
"It's going to be a fun match. I feel like I might not have the crowd on my side tomorrow since I'm playing an American. But I'm looking forward to [the final]."
