Paula Badosa found herself perplexed during her match against Madison Keys uanble to fathom the power of the American.
Keys played an immaculate style of tennis that frustrated Badosa a lot by the time the match was over. The Spaniard is known as a pretty good server and very hard hitter however it was not enough to counter Keys who has power of her own. On the matchup Badosa admitted:
"Sometimes I was serving 180. I had to look what the service said because I didn't understand how a winner came back that fast."
A lot of those winners came right back to Badosa especially in the 2nd set which Keys won with 6-1. Badosa failed to adapt to the playstyle of Keys in the match and the American cruised to a fairly easy 6-3 6-1 victory which left Badosa stunned. She said:
"I thought I was serving bad. Then I saw it was her game, that she was playing very, very good. Madison, she's like that.”
