Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz revealed the secrets behind winning his first-ever Wimbledon title. The 21-year-old is often regarded as one of the best players currently playing in men’s tennis in the singles category, along with the likes of Italy’s Jannik Sinner.
Alcaraz has already lifted four Grand Slam titles in his illustrious career. Two of them came while playing in London in 2023 and 2024. On both occasions, he defeated the former world number one, Serbia’s Novak Djokovic, in the final.
Alcaraz, in a recent Netflix documentary, has revealed the secret about winning his first Wimbledon title in 2023 where he defeated the 37-year-old, who is widely regarded as the greatest player in the history of men’s tennis in the singles category in the Open era, in a five-set thriller with a score of 1–6, 7–6(8–6), 6–1, 3–6, 6–4. The four-time Grand Slam winner stated that while he understands the reason behind some people stopping him from doing something, he wants to do things his way and wants to make his own decisions.
