After successfully defending his title at the 2025 Australian Open, World N0.1 Jannik Sinner has established himself as the best player on the ATP Tour over the past year.

The Italian was unstoppable at the first Grand Slam of the season, sweeping past the competition to face Alexander Zverev in the final. Despite a spirited effort from the German, Sinner proved to be too much for the World No.2, cruising to his second Australian Open title in dominant fashion.

Sinner records incredible statistic over the past 12 months

After announcing his arrival with his maiden Grand Slam title at the 2024 Australian Open, Sinner has been almost impossible to stop. The 23-year old would have a superb 2024 season, winning the US Open and the year-ending ATP Finals titles. Additionally, the Italian reached at least the quarterfinals in every tournament he participated in, accumulating an incredible win-loss record during the season.

Sinner's onslaught on the ATP Tour during the 2024 season was one for the ages. The San Candido native recorded an impressive 92.4% win-rate over the last 52 weeks, during which he went back-to-back at the Australian Open.

Former World No.1 Carlos Alcaraz came in second place with 80.6% over the past 52 weeks, recording notable victories at the French Open, Wimbledon and the China Open.

Serbian superstar Novak Djokovic is right on the Spaniard's heels with an 80.4% win-rate. Although the 24-time Grand Slam champion failed to win a Major title, Djokovic captured the elusive Olympic gold medal at the Paris Games last summer. German superstar Alexander Zverev sits at fourth place with a 77.3% record, whereas American Tommy Paul rounds out the top five with a 72.1% win-rate record over the past year.
