Novak Djokovic is in pursuit of Roger Federer's hard-court winning streak record and there is a good chance that he might snatch away another record from the Swiss ace.

Streaks are always a fun thing in tennis because they don't come often and usually, it's the best and most popular players that get them. Swiatek winning streak last year was the main talking point for months on the WTA Tour and while it gets annoying for players, it's a fun time to follow along. Each match is under the microscope and feels like a final.

The longest winning streak on hard courts at a single event belongs to Roger Federer and it's 40 matches long. It happened at US Open during his crazy run when he won multiple in a row. The second one is Novak Djokovic whose streak in Beijing is still live and sits at 29. The event hasn't been held since the pandemic started but it will return this year.

It's unclear whether Djokovic will appear at the event but if he does he'll have a chance to continue that streak. Whether he can overtake Federer remains to be seen. It's a cool record to have so don't think that Djokovic won't try if he's able to. Other notable players on the list include Lendl with 27 consecutive wins at the US Open, Andre Agassi with 26 at the same event and John McEnroe with 25 at the US Open.
