Alexander Bublik quoted Kung Fu Panda as he gave his overriding thoughts on the Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek doping cases which have been a focal point in tennis for some time.

Bublik said that there are no accidents as a character says in the film as well as using over such proverbs as there is no smoke without fire to give the overriding opinion that it is not accidental.

Swiatek tested positive for the substance TMZ which is used to treat jetlag and sleep deprivation. She served a month ban. While Sinner has not served a ban for testing positive twice for Clostebol.

But he will go to CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) in the next month in order to get it sorted and could yet serve a ban for the use of the substance in a massage on his back by his old physio. Bublik though didn't go as far as to agree with Nick Kyrgios on the situation.

“Sadly, the most discussed topic in tennis these days is doping. What is your opinion on Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek's cases? Do you believe those were just accidents? And why does this happen to the top ranked players?," he was asked.

“Master Oogway in Kung Fu Panda says, ‘There are no accidents.’ That would be my answer," responded Bublik to MatchTV.RU.

“I think that accidents are not accidental. I can quote more proverbs and sayings… ‘There is no smoke without fire.’ ‘If the shoe fits...’ That's what I think.”

But whilst that is the case, he doesn't fully agree with Kyrgios's tact regarding the situation. “If you took all of Nick's words, tried to analyze them and draw conclusions, you could go crazy. I probably don’t agree.”
