Novak Djokovic wins against Kecmanovic in Belgrade

Novak Djokovic came back to win against Miomir Kecmanovic in Belgrade winning 4-6 6-3 6-3.

Novak Djokovic entered this match slow and sluggish which was to be expected after he almost played four hours yesterday. Djokovic did not look that sharp yesterday and it's clear that he needs matches as well as not being in peak physical conditioning. Kecmanovic was able to take an early break and he would keep it for the majority of the set.

The younger Serbian was simply quicker to the ball and much sharper than Djokovic who struggled to find his rhythm. Kecmanovic did not play extremely well in this match and he can certainly play better but it was more than enough for the first set 6-4. Djokovic played much better in the 2nd set but he lost his serve early in the match to give Kecmanovi the break.

The Serbian pulled it back and it made Kecmanovic doubt his game a little bit as his level dropped off. In the meantime, Djokovic looked better and better and eventually towards the end of the set the Serbian was in full control of the match. A late break allowed him to finish off the 2nd set with 6-4. The start of the 3rd set featured okay play by both players.

They both got into a good rhytm as the match went on but neither found a breakthrough ealry.
