POLL: Alexander Zverev or Jannik Sinner? Who wins 2025 Australian Open Men's Title

The Australian Open Men's Final is upon us and will begin in just over an hour so it is time to have your say with our poll as we look ahead to Jannik Sinner v Alexander Zverev in Melbourne on Sunday.

Zverev leads their Head to Head 4-2 and it is not all old meetings either with Sinner's only recent win coming in Cincinnati last year. But the German has had his number in major tournaments so it'll be interesting to see how this one shapes out.

The German also hasn't played as much tennis as of the past few days with Novak Djokovic being defeated by Zverev through walk-over after only one set so that will either help or hinder him. While Sinner's only scares have came against Tristan Schoolkate in losing a set and against Holger Rune when he was unwell and had the shakes.

But the World No.1 despite the poor Head to Head deficit will very much be the favourite to claim the title. He is looking for back-to-back crowns after famously coming from two sets down last year to beat Daniil Medvedev. It would also be back-to-back Grand Slam crowns after winning the US Open last time out.

So either we get another major title for Sinner or we get a first- time winner in Zverev. Given Madison Keys win yesterday, it is far from a foregone conclusion in Sinner's direction with Aryna Sabalenka in a similar position to Sinner and she lost out.

So who joins the American in the photo shoot on Monday? Will it be Sinner again or Zverev achieving destiny albeit perhaps not the most popular choice given his prior off court issues which have seen him become a polarising figure. A love or hate character at the top of tennis but one there on merit.
