The ATP players members have voted the new the 2021-2022 ATP Player Council, with the President and Vice President to be elected at the beginning of the new season.
Pablo Andujar and Marcus Daniell are the only new names on the list, mostly made out of experienced players who had already experienced how the ATP Council works.
Felix Auger-Aliassime,
Rafael Nadal,
John Millman and
Roger Federer will take care of the world's leading 50 players, with Pablo Andujar and Gilles Simon in charge for the lower-ranked part of the top-100 group.
Marcus Daniell and Bruno Soares are there in front of the top-100 doubles players, together with Alumni Representative Colin Dowdeswell and Coach Representative Daniel Vallverdu.
In August, Novak Djokovic, Vasek Pospisil, John Isner and Sam Querrey resigned from the ATP Council to form their own Professional Tennis Players Association. It should be interesting to follow their first moves, as we are yet to witness their plans and decisions.
