'Sascha' defeated Argentina's Tomas Etcheverry in four sets and secured a spot in the tournament's semifinals for the third consecutive season, becoming the first unseeded player to reach that stage since Marco Cecchinato in 2018.

Shriver responded to Zverev's comments on Twitter, calling him an "Anti Role Model."

Despite the controversy, Zverev will continue to compete in the semifinals, aiming to reach his first final at Roland Garros. His opponent will be Casper Ruud, who was a finalist in 2022.
