Nick Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis are set to reunite at Wimledon bringing some Special K's magic to the biggest grand slam event in the world.
NIck Kyrgios and Thanasi Kokkinakis have known each other for many years having practically grown up together on the tennis court. The duo are great friends and excellent doubles partners demonstrating it last year by winning the Australian Open and a few other events. They took their talents to Turin for the ATP Finals as well but didn't do much damage there.

Reuining at Wimbledon

They haven't played this year at all, mostly because Nick Kyrgios has been away from the sport due to a knee injury that saw him miss all the events from the Australian Open till now. The Aussie is nearing a return to the courts and that means we'll see the special K's as well with Wimbledon a likely place.
Kokkinakis confirmed the plan is to reunite at Wimbledon and play doubles there:
"The plan right now is to play Wimbledon, obviously health permitting. We're going to sign in to the doubles there - we actually spoke about that on Thursday. We haven't played for a long time, and I haven't played much doubles at all this year as it isn't as much a priority for me this year, but I still want to play in some of the bigger tournaments because it's still a fun experience with him."

Special Bond

The duo have a special bond nad playing doubles is always a great experience for Kokkinakis. He's playing with Struff in Paris but will play with Kyrgios as soon as he gets back:
"I'm playing here in Paris with Struff here - so we'll see how that goes. If Nick wasn't ready for Wimbledon, I'd have played with him again at Wimbledon, but Nick's always up there as my choice of doubles partner. Nick and I get on really well, it's more than just having good results for us, we enjoy our time on the courts together - and it was a friendship first and that's why we play doubles in the first place."
