The competition in France kicked-off the 3rd out of the 5 weekends. Players at the Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) are fighting to get to the top of the rankings as we continue to see many surprising results.

The player that replaced Lucas Pouille in the competition, Corentin Moutet, is doing exceptionally. The Frenchman lost in his first match against Benoit Paire, but in the following two matches he didn't lose a single quarter against Popyrin and Brown.

On the other hand, his fellow countryman, Benoit Paire dropped already to the 9th place of the rankings. This Saturday, he lost to Alexei Popyrin and will need to level up his game in order to succeed in the competition.

Matteo Berrettini is the player who continues to deliver great results. The Italian got another 4-0 victory as he defetad Richard Gasquet this time. This moved him to the first place of the rankings ahead of Stefanos Tsitsipas by quarter difference.

The 'Greek God' lost his quarters against Feliciano Lopez when he needed to come back from being 0-2 down. However, Tsitsipas managed to do so and captured his 4th victory at the competition.

In the last match of the day, Dominic Thiem continued to show his great qualities. The Austrian defeated David Goffin 3-1 and moved already to 6th place of the rankings. Thiem missed the first weekend and so he needs to be almost flawless during the rest of the competition in order to qualify for the semifinals.
