Bjorn Born was in attendance at the 2023 Stockholm Open to watch his son Leo Borg's match against Laslo Djere.

Between 1974 and 1981, the former World No. 1 became the first man in the Open Era to win 11 Grand Slam titles, consisting of six victories at the French Open and five at Wimbledon. Borg originally retired in 1984 before making a comeback and ending his career again in 1993. 

On Tuesday, October 17, the 67-year-old watched his son Leo, aged 20, play against World No. 35 Djere in the Round of 32 at the ATP 250 tournament in Stockholm.

Leo is currently ranked World No. 359 and mostly competes on the ITF Tour and at tournaments on the Challenger Tour. However, he entered the ATP event as a wild card and took on the Serbian player in the opening round, ultimately being defeated in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3.

Since then, a video has emerged on social media of Borg watching his son play with the caption:

"Bjorn Borg is in the house! No pressure, Leo."

Earlier this year, Borg traveled to Chennai, India, to watch Leo play at the Challenger event there. However, he told the press that although he enjoys watching his son play, it is harder to watch from the stands because he gets nervous.

"I am very happy to see him play, but not all the time. He has his team, he is doing things with his coach. Me and my wife, whenever we have time, we like to see him once in a while.

"I think that he does not want to see us all the time. I love to see him. It is worse to watch your son or daughter from the stands because you get even more nervous. It is better when you play yourself, you have no control when sitting in the stands," Borg explained at the time, while also opening up on his son's aims.

"He [Leo Borg] is working really hard on the court and off the court. I am very happy to see him, we have a really good relationship. He knows what to do and what not to do. He is hungry to improve his game and be a top player," he continued.
