Paris Masters this season after all with Carlos Alcaraz remaining as the top name involved also with the withdrawal of Novak Djokovic.
Sinner had troubles with illness earlier in the season and has suffered a virus ahead of the tournament so has decided to withdraw. He won’t play now until the ATP Finals.

“I came very early to prepare, then felt sick. I have a virus at the moment, which is gonna pass the next 2 or 3 days. Body-wise I’m not ready to compete. I’m very sorry for that,” he said in a video released by the official social media.
Sinner was due to start his campaign on Wednesday with the top two seeds alternating. But instead that section will open up.
