Eva Lys criticizes Sky Sports Germany for ignoring female athletes

The German tennis player criticized a post by “Sky Sports Germany” which highlighted the major events of top German athletes but only included men, featuring tennis players Alexander Zverev and Jan-Lennard Struff, who faced their semifinal matches this Saturday.
“Hot weekend on Sky! Crunch time starts at 11am on Sky. Will Zverev and Struff make it to the finals of their ATP tournaments?” the post read about the German tennis players. It also mentioned golfer Marcel Siem and driver Nico Hülkenberg: “How will Hülkenberg perform in Hungary? Will Siem make the leap forward at The Open?”
The 22-year-old Eva Lys shared the post and criticized the exclusion of women: “And what about the WTA250 in Budapest? We women put in just as much effort,” she wrote after sharing Sky Sport’s post on X.
Lys reached the semifinals in Budapest but ultimately lost to the first seed Diana Shnaider. Struff similarly fell to Quentin Halys in straight sets in Gstaad. Meanwhile, Zverev defeated Pedro Martínez and advanced to the final of the Hamburg Open, where he will face Frenchman Arthur Fils.

Liam Broady sparks humorous Twitter thread over Atlanta Open breakfast complaint as Andy Murray hilariously responds.

Liam Broady initiated a funny thread on Twitter after complaining about the breakfast situation at the Atlanta Open. The Brit fell in the first round of the ATP 250 qualifiers and posted a critique of the tournament, with Andy Murray, John Isner, and Andy Roddick joining in the comments.
“First match at 10am today so have to warm up at 8:30. Breakfast doesn’t open till 9am? Walked into player area and we’ve got… bagels. Really good for a high standard of tennis and tennis tournament in Atlanta,” he wrote with three laughing emojis.
“Hope you are ok mate. That sounds terrible. Surprised you hadn’t checked the breakfast situation ahead of time like most professionals would have done,” Andy Murray commented jokingly with his compatriot. “You have five people just to wipe your bum for you man you’ve never checked a situation ahead of time in your life we are not the same,” responded Liam Broady.
The topic went even further with John Isner and Andy Roddick joining the discussion, defending their tournament: “I have to defend Atlanta. There’s a Publix literally right next door to the hotel that opens at 7am and closed last night at 10pm,” Isner wrote. “Free options aside, imagine eating a full breakfast 45 minutes before you go onto the court for a match as a professional. Atlanta is a big city,” Roddick wrote.
Follow the hilarious thread of responses between the players regarding the facilities at the Atlanta Open.

Camila Giorgi resurfaces with new life in Dallas

The 2021 WTA 1000 Canadian Open champion unexpectedly withdrew in May of this year when she disappeared from the WTA rankings. She was accused of fleeing to the United States due to unpaid debts and stealing antique furniture. After a few days, Giorgi issued a statement on Instagram that she later deleted.
"Please trust this Instagram for truthful information," the post began. “I am happy to formally announce retirement from my tennis career. I am so grateful for your wonderful love and support for so many years. I cherish all the beautiful memories. There have been many inaccurate rumors about my future plans, so I look forward to providing more information about exciting opportunities ahead.”
The 32-year-old Italian has recently shared photos of herself and her new life in Dallas. The former tennis player appears to have decided to continue with her modeling work, which she had balanced with her professional tennis career. ‘Madness is like an abstract painting in which the author puts what he feels and everyone sees in it what he wants,’ the caption read.
Albeit she has since had issues with others saying that she didn't pay rent and took their furniture off them. A storm that will continue to develop and saw Giorgi retire from the sport to fan fare only to end in a stink.

Camila Giorgi on her retirement & recent rumors: “Please trust this instagram for truthful information. To my lovely fans, I am happy to formally announce retirement from my tennis career. I am so grateful for your wonderful love and support for so many years. I cherish all…
