Nick Kyrgios copped criticism for his comments surrounding retirement before he turns 33 and one of those to scold the Aussie was Tracy Austin.
Austin said that Kyrgios should feel lucky to be out there and also that she finds it 'sad' that he doesn't love tennis and playing a professional sport for a living.
“I kind of find it sad you're playing a professional sport & you just don't absolutely love it. You don't drink it up.. You want to feel like you're lucky to be out there," she said.
Originally, Kyrgios said to get those comments: "The schedule is out of control, bro!! I’m getting old. 28. But with all the drinking and partying I’m 57," he said, before adding that "33 is insane. I’m not playing till I’m 33. Once I’m gone, you’ll never see me again."
