Entry List WTA Internationaux de Strasbourg 2025 headlined by Paula Badosa, Emma Navarro, Daria Kasatkina and Elina Svitolina

Taking place between 18-24 May, 2025, the Internationaux de Strasbourg is a final stop on the road towards Roland Garros with the Entry List now confirmed ahead of the WTA 500 tournament.

Madison Keys is defending champion defeating Danielle Collins in the 2024 final. Both went into Roland Garros fired up after great form this time last year. But only Collins returns this time. She withdrew from Madrid due to illness.

Albeit a great field has still been assembled for the tournament with Paula Badosa currently set to lead it but this of course is up in the air given her recent injury travails. Since breaking down again with her back injury at Merida Open Akron, Badosa has barely played and had to withdraw from the Madrid Open.

It is presumed that if she doesn't play Rome, she will aim to be back for Strasbourg. But if she doesn't play, it will be Emma Navarro who leads the way. Now a top 10 star herself, she played last season losing to Beatriz Haddad Maia.

But this was also during a time when she could still play in WTA 125k tournament so played a lot in the lead up after an early loss in Rome. Also involved are Daria Kasatkina as well as Barbora Krejcikova with the Wimbledon champion not playing since the WTA Finals so hasn't been involved at all in 2025.

She made her name at this tournament before winning Roland Garros and has signed up for various Wimbledon warm-ups in the UK including Queen's and Eastbourne so is seemingly on her way back after a back injury. Elina Svitolina who in similar fashion to Krejcikova emerged at this event as a real threat when she returned will also look to win it again.

While Leylah Fernandez, Anna Kalinskaya, Clara Tauson and some of the top stars of this year in Olga Danilovic and Ashlyn Krueger also are involved. Also watch this event for potential top stars wanting extra game time ahead of Roland Garros so we could yet see some wildcards involved from the higher echelons of the rankings.
