British tennis star Katie Boulter recently went down memory lane, recalling the time when she faced tennis great Roger Federer in mixed doubles at the 2019 edition of the Hopman Cup.
The Brit sat down with Sky Sports to discuss tennis and some interesting players she has faced. Boulter was quick to bring up when she faced the Swiss Maestro in mixed doubles at the Hopman Cup, calling it one of the most exciting moments in her career.
"Actually I got a chance to face Federer," said Boulter during the interview. "Yeah Roger in Hopman Cup. It was daunting. It was really daunting. I was so excited for it and then the moment that I actually walked out on court I realized I was actually gonna have to to play tennis. He's probably going to judge me but yeah it was really fun."
Additionally, the World No.24 mentioned a few WTA players she had faced who had intimidating serves. Boulter was quick to mention World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka, as well as American phenom Coco Gauff.
"There's some big serves out there," said Boulter. "Pliskova. Coco. Sabalenka."
