Serena Williams reacted to
Caroline Wozniacki's happy news, saying she is "already in love" with her newborn son.
On Thursday, 2018 Australian Open champion Wozniacki announced that she and her husband David Lee welcomed a baby boy named James. Last year, Wozniacki and Lee became parents for the first time, when Olivia was born.
"Family of 4. James Wozniacki Lee born October 24, 2022. Everybody is healthy and Olivia is thrilled to be a big sister," Wozniacki announced on Thursday.
Williams shared Wozniacki's post on her Instagram Story and captioned it: "I'm in love already. Congrats Caroline and David."
When Wozniacki announced she was pregnant with her second child in June, Williams wrote on Instagram: "I love you!" After Williams revealed her plans to retire after the US Open, Wozniacki shared her a touching message: "I love you and so proud of you."
Meanwhile, Wozniacki has been retired since the 2020 Australian Open. While it is clear that Wozniacki won't be returning to pro tennis, Williams has hinted several times that she may change her mind. Most recently, Williams teased fans with the idea of making a comeback.
"I am not retired. The chances (of a return) are very high. You can come to my house, I have a court," Williams said during the TechCrunch Disrupt conference.
