Aryna Sabalenka sealed the title at the Miami Open but it was Jessica Pegula who aimed to have the last laugh as she joined the World No.1's interview on the Tennis Channel's desk to swipe her cocktail.
Sabalenka won 7-5, 6-2 over Pegula who lamented the fact that she lost in a third final in a row against the World No.1. But some comfort came in the form of the 'Marg-Aryna' cocktail which has become synonymous with her interviews on Tennis Channel this week.
It saw her have a hilarious slip of the tongue after beating Danielle Collins earlier this week. But she couldn't drink hers this time.
Pegula decided to join the desk to swipe the cocktail off Sabalenka but in reality Martina Navratilova joked that she took hers in the end as Prakash Amritraj tried to find a fresh one for the champion.
As Pegula walked away with the cocktail in hand, Navratilova joked 'Go Dolphins' in reference to the team that usually play on site in the NFL with Pegula's family of course owning the Buffalo Bills. She may not have won the title but she got her own back somehow.
Jessie got her revenge and swiped Aryna's Marg-Aryna during her TC Desk interview 😂#MiamiOpen pic.twitter.com/D6F1AT6Lv0
