WTA Wrapped 2024: Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff, and Iga Swiatek top the spotlight

The WTA shared a post following the Spotify Wrapped trend, highlighting the best players of the year on the Tour, including Coco Gauff, Iga Swiatek, and Aryna Sabalenka. Spotify annually releases a summary of the year’s statistics, which were revealed just a day earlier.

The post, partly humorous, spotlighted Sabalenka's 70,608 minutes as world No. 1 — equivalent to 1,176 hours or 7 weeks — precisely the time since she claimed the top spot from Swiatek before the WTA Finals.

For Coco Gauff, the post highlighted the ‘3,485 minutes’ the American No. 1 "spent making TikTok videos this year," while Swiatek stood out for her ‘2,506 minutes listening to Taylor Swift this year,’ and Emma Navarro for ‘spent all year thinking about her dog.’
